The government is looking to crack down on criminal cab drivers after a series of worrying incidents, including here in Kent.<br /><br />The department for transport is consulting on whether to enhance the drivers' criminal record checks.<br /><br />Last year on KMTV we exclusively revealed how some cabbies in Canterbury had convictions for grievous bodily harm and arson.
