Campaigners were waiting today to hear whether or not stroke services will be cut by half in Kent. <br /><br />The Joint Committee of Clinical Commissioning Groups made an unanimous final decision on how to restructure vital facilities.<br /><br />They finally decided that Darent Valley, Maidstone Hospital and William Harvey Hospital will house new 24/7 acute stroke services as part of a £40 million shake up.
