Nobody should be sleeping out on the streets.<br /><br />That's what a minister for housing and homelessness has said after figures came out about people sleeping rough in Kent. <br /><br />Although figures have gone down since last year, rough sleepers have more than doubled in Kent in the last five years.<br /><br />Swale saw the biggest rise from 9 people sleeping rough in 2017 to 32 over 2018.
