Residents in Ryarsh will soon find out whether plans for a huge quarry in the area will be scrapped for good.<br /><br />Last week planners at the council revealed they wanted to withdraw Ryarsh as a possibility for the massive site but the developer lodged an appeal.<br /><br />Thousands have signed a petition against the proposals.<br /><br />A decision on the quarry will be made by the cabinet at the Council next Thursday.
