Figures from the Trussel Trust shows that in the past year 1.3 million emergency food supplies were delivered to people across the UK. This is a 13 per cent increase on the year before and means that the number of food bank deliveries are at all all time high.<br /><br />We asked shoppers in Maidstone whether they were surprised at these new figures.
