A sinkhole continues to cause chaos in Maidstone, with residents complaining of poor driving and near misses. <br /><br />Tonbridge Lane in Barming has been closed since the 28th of May causing a huge five-mile diversion around the sinkhole on Gatland Lane. <br /><br />Kent County Council has now decided to shut Gatland Lane, but some motorists are ignoring the road closure and still driving through the road.
