More children in Kent are developing scarlet fever.<br /><br />Doctors across the country are seeing the highest levels of the life-threatening disease in almost 60 years.<br /><br />Latest data shows more than 26,000 people have been struck down by the illness this year, that's already more than the whole of 2016.<br /><br />Public Health England figures also showed a rise in measles, with cases twice as high as last year.<br /><br />We were joined by Strood GP Dr Julian Spinks in our studio.
