A campaign in Maidstone is encouraging people to be more friendly.<br /><br />The West Kent Befriending Service helps isolated older people and launched the campaign to coincide with World Friendship Day.<br /><br />The service had been in financial difficulty but last week a series of huge donations helped raise enough money to take referrals for new members. <br /><br />We were joined by Wendy Pfeiffer from the Service to talk a bit more about it.
