Claire Pearson and her black Labrador Pal, who alerts her when her blood sugar level is low, have been nominated for an award at the 2018 National Diversity Awards. <br /><br />The pair were nominated for the Positive Role Model award at the annual event, which is held to honour those who have showed a commitment to helping others.
