The leader of Kent County Council has thrown his support behind the campaign to save Maidstone's High Speed links to London.<br /><br />Companies bidding for the South Eastern rail franchise may cut the service between Maidstone West and St Pancras International under proposed plans.<br /><br />The leader of Kent County Council Paul Carter said these plans were completely unacceptable, marking cross-party support for this campaign.<br /><br />We were joined in the studio by Councillor Rob Bird, who's also been campaigning.
