A veteran Umno leader has suggested the party’s supreme council dissolves Muafakat Nasional (MN) and dismantles its charter, effectively ending Umno’s alliance with PAS.<br /><br />Umno secretary-general Mustapha Yaakub said this is to avoid a prolonged polemic between the two parties.
