The Karnataka government has decided to include eggs in mid-day meals in at least seven districts of the state. This means that students of Classes 1-8 in government and government-aided schools in these districts will be served boiled eggs along with their meals. <br /> <br />Ballari, Bidar, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Raichur, Vijayapura, and Yadgir in North Karnataka are the districts that will benefit from this scheme, the full cost of which will be borne by the central government.
