India sees fall in daily Covid tally at 7,992; new deaths at 393

India's daily tally of the coronavirus disease continued a downward trend on Saturday after 7,992 cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 34,682,736, according to the Union health ministry's update at 8am.
