Umno's former Malacca chief minister Idris Haron said DAP's criticism of the Umno defectors may have lost Pakatan Harapan a significant number of Malay votes in the Malacca state election.<br /><br />In the Nov 20 state assembly election, Harapan only managed to secure five out of 28 state seats contested. Anwar Ibrahim’s PKR lost all 11 seats it contested.
