One step closer to protecting our wildlife and livelihoods. <br /><br />That's the message from campaigners and businesses in Swanscombe as the land earmarked for the London Resort has been granted Special Scientific Interest. <br /><br />They say this step will make it harder for developers to move forward. <br /><br />However some say the money and benefits it could bring to the county will outweigh the environmental impacts.
