With the World Health Organization (WHO) granting emergency approval to Covovax, top Indian scientists have recommended that it be used as a booster shot in combination with Covishield. INSACOG's Anurag Agrawal said Covovax has greater efficacy as a booster dose than Covishield as it “induces a strong immune response and has an excellent safety profile.”
