This is the moment two cop cars ram a banned teen driver to a halt following a high-speed chase through several Nottinghamshire villages.<br /><br />Nottinghamshire Police shared the video on social media on 20th December after the incident took place on 15th September.<br /><br />In a statement, the police said the teenage driver “was banned from the roads” when he tried to “evade capture during a high-speed rampage through three villages” in Nottinghamshire.<br /><br />The suspect, named Bill Nicholson, reportedly hit speeds of over 80 miles per hour while racing through the villages of Ranby, Barnby Moor, and Blyth with two passengers on board.<br /><br />The suspect was stopped when two police cars managed to box him in on the A634 in Blyth.<br /><br />The police said: “Anxious to avoid arrest, he jumped into the back seat to give the impression he was a passenger and that the driver had fled. But officers saw his deceitful maneuver, which was also captured on police dash-cam footage.”<br /><br />Nicholson was arrested and charged with dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance.<br /><br />Nottinghamshire Police said: “He pleaded guilty to the offenses at Nottingham Crown Court and was sentenced to nine months in prison, suspended for 18 months, and banned from driving for 15 months.<br /><br />PC James McClintock said: “This was, without doubt, the worst standard of driving I’ve ever witnessed in my 17 years as a police officer.<br /><br />“Nicholson took many, many risks driving how he did and traveling at such speeds, and it is was pure luck that no one was hurt.
