As of noon today, a total of 28,287 flood victims have received their Bantuan Wang Ihsan (BWI) from Putrajaya, said Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.<br /><br />"These funds were paid out in 10 days after the flood hits unlike before, which could take up to six months," said Ismail Sabri.<br /><br />The prime minister said this in a statement after chairing the Special Task Force on East Coast Post-Flood Management Committee today.
