Heart-stopping footage shows the moment a teenager narrowly missed being mown down by an impatient driver at a Christmas Fayre.<br /><br />Ethan Smart, 19, was riding his moped when a Mazda careered in front of him as it jumped a queue of traffic caused by the opening of a festive market.<br /><br />The near miss was captured on Ethan’s helmet camera as he rode through Worcester city centre last Thursday (2/12) afternoon.<br /><br />More than 10,000 festive revellers descended on the city to enjoy the opening of the annual Victorian Christmas Fayre which caused long tailbacks.<br /><br />The clip shows Ethan, who was on his way home from college, swerve into the central reservation as the silver car suddenly pulled out into the teenager’s lane.<br /><br />Ethan’s mum Jennie, 46, of Worcester, said: “My son was on his way home from college when this idiot almost hit him."
