Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak said he had to pay the price for choosing to voice out the truth in the 14th General Election which resulted in BN’s defeat.<br /><br />He said as the prime minister at the time, he could not make the type of promises made by Pakatan Harapan just to win an election.<br /><br />He said he was faced with a choice; whether to promise Malaysians the moon or to be honest to the people.
