Homeowners were left shocked when their parked car ploughed through their living room in a freak hit-and-run crash.<br /><br />Firefighters scrambled to the house in Cheverton Road, in Northfield, Birmingham, at around 3am on Saturday (15/1).<br /><br />The homeowners were not hurt in the crash which saw their own car rammed through their living room wall.<br /><br />The driver of the car which caused the crash is being hunted by police.<br /><br />Dramatic pictures show the white car embedded in the wall of the house just inches away from a sofa.<br /><br />Writing on West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service Twitter page, they said: "Green watch crews were called to a car that had hit another parked car at 3am, outside a house in Northfield.<br /><br />"The collision caused the residents' car to smash their bay window. <br /><br />"The occupants of the other vehicle fled the scene, police are investigating."<br /><br />Filmed 15th January 2022.
