<br />An elephant expert is calling for plans to send a herd from Kent to live in Africa to be abandoned...<br /><br />Howletts near Canterbury are preparing to release 13 of them into the wild in Kenya - and say they're confident they'll thrive.<br /><br />But Keith Somerville, who's a professor at the Uni of Kent, claims it has no conservation value.<br /><br />He's also worried the elephants from Howletts wouldn't survive in the wild - and could even pose a risk to humans.<br />
