This is the moment stunned staff and customers at a McDonald’s spotted a large cat prowling for food.<br /><br />Jon Middleton, 40, captured the beast on film in Doncaster, South Yorks., on Saturday, January 31.<br /><br />Video footage sees the sandy, fawn coloured cat rummaging around in the hedges just yards from McDonald's customers.<br /><br />Jon said he had no idea what the animal was, but estimated it was around 4-4.5ft and 'three times the size of a domestic cat'.<br /><br />He said the cat had a distinctive striped tail and ‘leopard print’ markings.<br /><br />Jon said: “Everyone who saw it was absolutely stunned.<br /><br />"It was very muscular and very cautious in the way it was moving around, like it wasn’t used to being near to people.<br /><br />"I literally just did a double take when I saw it and others were the same.”<br /><br />Captured on the 31st Jan 2022.
