This is the moment a 94-year-old former head chef returned to the kitchen where he started as an apprentice as a teen in 1944. Ernest ‘Bill’ Hill visited the illustrious Royal Yacht Squadron where he first learned to cook aged 16 - ahead of National Apprenticeship Week.
