This is the moment rescuers saved a ferocious leopard trapped in a 50ft well.<br /><br />The animal was trapped in the Indian state of Maharashtra after accidentally falling into the chamber.<br /><br />Rescuers can be seen carefully lowering a trap cage down the well beside the young animal.<br /><br />One man used a bamboo stick to guide her into the cage.<br /><br />"If the leopard had been not spotted on time she would have died because of hunger as it was hard for her to climb the rocky well with a depth more than 50ft," said a wildlife expert, Manish Kumar.<br /><br />After being monitored and fed meat the leopard was later released into the wild.
