The defamation trial of Ben Roberts-Smith has been told the war veteran once surprised comrades during a training exercise by ordering a mock execution. Mr Roberts-Smith is suing the Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Canberra Times Newspapers over a series of articles published in 2018.
