A top Met Police officer has denied there were vetting issues with Sarah Everard’s killer Wayne Couzens.<br />Senior cop Sir Stephen House has said it is “not clear” that there were problems with vetting in the case of rapist and murderer Couzens.<br />In March 2021, Couzens used his warrant card to trick Ms Everard, 33, into a false arrest - before kidnapping, raping and strangling her, and burning her body in Ashford, Kent.<br /><br />Footage: GLA
