This is a small film shot in the hospital's centenary year of 1932. <br />The hospital stood on West Street, was closed in 1978 and ( I believe ) demolished in 1981. The space is now occupied by the 'Royal Plaza' building. <br />I have dusty memories of having a tonsil operation there in 1972, as the medical profession thought it such a 'fashionable' procedure then. <br />The nurses were lovely, as I remember. <br />Narration is by the late Tony Claptrap.
