More than 100 classic and sports car enthusiasts gathered for an autistic seven-year-old's birthday - after a plea by his mum.<br /><br />Trinity Robins, 28, posted an appeal on social media for car owners to take part in a special meet for her Carterjay's seventh bday bash.<br /><br />The response was so overwhelming Trinity had to organise another venue that would be big enough to fit everyone.<br /><br />Carterjay's birthday took place on Sunday (27th) at a car park in Taunton in Somerset.<br /><br />Hundreds of classic, vintage and sports cars made an appearance on the special day - including a Nissan GTR, a McLaren and a classic county Sheriff police car.<br /><br />Mum-of-two Trinity posted her appeal on January 31 for her car-enthusiast son and planned the surprise party for a few weeks.<br /><br />She said: ''We felt absolutely amazed and grateful for everyone making the day so special.'<br /><br />Carterjay's love of cars came from his uncle and his dream is to open his own car cleaning business one day.<br />ENDS
