As Crimea headed towards leaving Ukraine to become part of Russia, there were many who still felt both fear and hatred towards Moscow. <br /> <br />Tatars have lived in Crimea for centuries but they were labelled as Nazis by Stalin in WW2 and deported - many dying on the 18-day forced journey away from their homeland. <br /> <br />One woman, deported when she was just 12, said Putin was trying to grab what wasn't his as he effectively annexed Crimea in 2014. <br /> <br />Now, in 2022, Russian troops have poured into Ukraine from Crimea as part of the Kremlin's invasion.
