<p>When Emily Corbett Abney, 24, married her husband David, 28, on October 10, 2021, she knew she wanted her beloved grandparents involved in the special day.</p><p>She struck upon the idea of her grandmother Barbara Johnson, 79, walking down the aisle as her flower girl and her granddad Larry Johnson, 78, following as the ring bearer.</p><p>And she can cherish the the lovely moment forever, as it was captured on video by a wedding guest.</p><p>The gorgeous clip shows retired biscuit maker Barbara dressed in a gold gown as she delicately tosses petals from a basket down the wedding aisle.</p><p>Substitute teacher Emily, who lives in Cullman, said: "I was so excited to see them walk down the aisle and it made me so happy that they got to be part of our wedding in such a special way. </p><p>"My granddad has had some health issues and even had a surgery just a couple days before the wedding but was determined to be there no matter what.</p><p>"It was my idea and my husband loved the idea, too."</p><p>Filmed on 10th October 2021</p>
