<p>These stunning scenes show Switzerland turned orange thanks to Sahara dust. </p><p>Daniel P. Everett captured the footage today (15 Mar) while driving in an Alpine region near Lake Thun. </p><p>The dust could hit Britain on Wednesday as a result of high winds from Storm Celia. </p><p>Daniel explains: “I was just driving home to Einigen - which is located on the lake of Thun in Canton Bern, at the edge of the Bernese Oberland, when I pulled over and stopped to take these amazing shots of the orange sky. </p><p>“The mountains in the background include the famous Eiger and the Mönch. </p><p>“We experienced this about a year ago too, that time the snow was speckled with sand.” </p><p>Areas of Europe, including Spain, have already found themselves covered in red Saharan dust, as desert sand is blown across the Mediterranean Sea.</p>
