The wheels are turning at MUI Group which owns brands like Laura Ashley, Metrojaya and Corus Hotel. Second-generation CEO and Executive Chairman Andrew Khoo has set out a transformation plan to bring MUI’s relevance back to the market after years of languishing performance.<br /><br />Among others, MUI is making rapid expansion into China and Australia through Laura Ashley while converting some of its hotel assets to Laura Ashley-branded tea rooms and spas. For Metrojaya, Khoo has injected new brands to revitalise its retail offering.
