US health officials say a new viral respiratory illness is an evolving outbreak that should be taken seriously, but U.S. citizens should not be "worried or frightened."<br />"They should know that we are taking this obviously very seriously as it evolves," Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases told reporters before a briefing with Senators in Washington.<br />The Senate Health Committee and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee held a closed door briefing with top administration health officials regarding the coronavirus outbreak that was first detected in Wuhan, China.
