Following an urgent question regarding Ukrainian visas, shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper blasted the home secretary and her department, asking whether it was “deliberate or total and utter incompetence”<br /><br />Cooper told the House of a family, whose visa was “revoked” after they applied for a different scheme on the advice of the Home Office, saying “the visa system is simply not working”.<br /><br />Cooper went on to brand the government’s reaction to the humanitarian crisis as “Kafkaesque”.
