Indonesia will phase out sending domestic workers to Malaysia, who are more vulnerable to abuse and forced labour.<br /><br />This is according to Indonesian ambassador to Malaysia, Hermono. <br /><br />He said Indonesia will focus on sending its citizens to work in Malaysia’s formal sector instead.<br /><br />Hermono said his country was not interested in sending large numbers of domestic workers to work in countries where labour abuses frequently went unpunished.
