Frank Langella <br />Fired From Netflix Series, After Misconduct Allegations.<br />The award-winning veteran actor had been cast <br />as the lead role in the Netflix limited series <br />'The Fall of the House of Usher.'.<br />Langella, 84, had been under a company investigation after alleged sexual misconduct on set.<br />'TMZ' reports that the actor allegedly made inappropriate jokes during a rehearsal...<br />... and touched a unnamed woman's leg, <br />one of the co-stars of the series.<br />He reportedly joked after the incident, asking the woman, "Did you like that?".<br />The show also stars Carla Gugino.<br />Mary McDonnell.<br />Carl Lumbly ...<br />... and Mark Hamill.<br />Langella had been cast to play lead character Roderick Usher.<br />The series is based upon the work of Edgar Allan Poe.<br />A popular film version of the short story was produced during the 1950s and starred Vincent Price.<br />The eight-part Netflix series has been shooting in Canada.<br />The role of Roderick Usher will be recast with another actor.<br />and the scenes already filmed with Langella will be reshot.<br />Langella's career spans several decades. .<br />His awards include several Tonys and a Best Actor Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Richard Nixon in 'Frost / Nixon.'
