The Umno Supreme Council has decided not to extend the memorandum of understanding between the BN-led federal government and Pakatan Harapan after its deadline this July.<br /><br />It added that the party would hold an extraordinary general meeting on May 14th to amend Umno's constitution concerning the time period for party elections.<br /><br />Meanwhile, the council also decided that Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob will be its poster boy for the upcoming 15th general election.<br /><br />Umno secretary-general Ahmad Maslan in a statement announced that the council has agreed to name Ismail Sabri as their choice for prime minister after GE15.
