Six migrants died in a road accident linked to a pre-dawn escape involving 528 detainees from the Immigration Department’s temporary detention centre in Sungai Bakap, Penang, at 4.30am this morning.<br /><br />Penang police chief Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain confirmed the accident and deaths.<br /><br />Shuhaily revealed that over 200 detainees were arrested on site while walking along the highway as they were afraid to try and make their way across after the accident.<br /><br />https://www.malaysiakini.com/news/618594
