KHOU (channel 11) is a television station in Houston, Texas, United States, affiliated with CBS. It is owned by Tegna Inc. alongside Conroe-licensed Quest station KTBU (channel 55). Both stations share studios on Westheimer Road near Uptown Houston, while KHOU's transmitter is located near Missouri City, in unincorporated northeastern Fort Bend County.<br /><br />During the 2020–21 television season, KHOU became the second-largest (after Gray Television-owned WGCL in Atlanta) CBS affiliate (not owned by the network) station by market size, after passing Washington, D.C., home of sister station and corporate flagship WUSA.[2]
