The vice of police collecting bribes on our roads has been ongoing for a long time. They seem to stop at nothing to get their share for the day. <br />Sting operations by officials from the ethics and anti-corruption commission did little to stop it and so did the much-publicised vetting of the men in blue. <br />KTN News through hours of secretly filming of the officers taking bribes on the different roads in Nairobi gives a sneak peek into this organised crime and reveals just how much some of the matatu Sacco’s lose to the officers. <br />Police however say the issue is not just about them taking bribes but also the Matatu owners and the vehicles that are on the road.<br />Here’s the Inside Source with Fred Kagonye.
