Heavy rainfall and strong winds wreaked havoc in the Dima Hasao district of Assam.<br /><br />Several areas in Dima Hasao have been partially submerged in floodwater.<br /><br />Torrential rain washed away a portion of the road in the Haflong area of the district. Three persons including a woman died in landslide incidents in the Haflong area. So far, 24,681 people in 94 villages in six districts have been affected due to floods.
