Former Telok Mas state assemblyperson Noor Effandi Ahmad, who was sacked by Bersatu during the Malacca political crisis last October, has joined Amanah.<br /><br />Taking to Facebook yesterday, Malacca Amanah chairperson Adly Zahari said he welcomes Effandi to the Amanah family.<br /><br />Noor Effandi, who served as a state executive council member between 2018 and 2021, said he handed over his membership form to Adly yesterday.<br /><br />Noor Effandi, together with the then Sungai Udang state assemblyperson Idris Harun and two others, had retracted their support for the Sulaiman Md Ali's Umno-Bersatu government in favour of Pakatan Harapan.
