DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke has warned the government that short-term knee-jerk reactions taken to solve the issue of chicken supply could lead to other economic problems.<br /><br />He said the government should instead look for more comprehensive and long term solutions to the problem.<br /><br />Loke said this while commenting on the governments announcement to stop the exports of up to 3.6 million chickens to Singapore from June 1 until chicken prices and production stabilise.
