In the first war crimes trial being held in Ukraine since Russia's invasion, a Russian tank commander has pleaded guilty to killing an unarmed elderly Ukrainian civilian. He has been sentenced to life imprisonment. This is a huge strategic move for Ukraine which alleges thousands of war-crimes being committed by Russian soldiers on Ukrainian turf ever since the invasion.
