The cabinet wanted two issues to be refined by the special select committee working on a bill to restrict MPs from switching parties, said Law Minister Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.<br /><br />He said the select committee would deliberate on those two issues on June 7 and subsequently "finalise" the bill.<br /><br />However, Wan Junaidi said he was bound by Standing Order 85 and could not reveal further details.<br /><br />The minister said this in a statement today following the cabinet meeting yesterday, wherein attorney-general Idrus Harun had presented the bill.
