Price control for chicken and eggs will be extended until the end of this month, said Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Alexander Nanta Linggi.<br /><br />This, he said, was decided by the cabinet yesterday. The price control was supposed to end on June 5.<br /><br />The government had set an RM8.9 per kg price ceiling for "standard" dressed chicken and RM9.9 per kg for "super" dressed chicken between Feb 5 and June 5.
