Israel Seeks to Export Gas to Europe Through Egypt

The European Union (EU) is looking to Egypt as a fast and cost-efficient route to supply liquefied natural gas — or LNG — from Israel, as the bloc seeks to reduce dependence on Russian gas that accounts for 40 percent of its total consumption.
