The Road Transport Department (RTD) said it will enforce laws banning heavy vehicles exceeding 7,500kg from using several arterial roads in Kuala Lumpur during rush hours.<br /><br />In a statement, the RTD urged all transport companies and heavy vehicle drivers to stay off certain roads (listed below) between 6.30am and 9.30am as well as between 4.30pm and 7.30pm.<br /><br />Signs will be erected at roads subjected to this rule, said the RTD.<br /><br />The affected roads are gazetted under the first schedule of the Road Transport (Slow Moving Vehicles) (Prohibition on Use of Road) (City of Kuala Lumpur) Order 1994.
