<br />There are "active investigations" "by the appropriate entity" into reports of misappropriation of funds by certain elements in fiscal 2021.<br /><br /><br />That's what the Auditor General told Parliament's Public Accounts Committee on Wednesday during a virtual hearing.<br /><br />However, the Assistant Auditor General said that where COVID expenditure in fiscal 2021 is concerned, "there was no fraud per say".<br /><br />Juhel Browne reports.<br />
